Human development studies the well-being concept within a field of international development, involving the study of human condition and the inequality adjusted human development index that measure that actual progress in human development. This research made by Zettergren and Bergman enabled us to study the relationship between high IQ in adolescents and adjustment. In this research we can observe how the influence of alcohol, family problems or other problems can have affect the IQ of a teenager. Records showed, adolescents with high IQ had better adjustment than those of average IQ. In most studied adjustment areas, most strongly so for school achievement, capacity to concentrate, and absence of unhappiness. Less alcohol, criminal and mental problems in childhood and young adulthood help to develop and improve IQ. This study addressed how problems around or in the background of a teenager, can harm their lives. It can really affect them, personality and even their intellectual, all negative type of behavior can affect a teenager life not just behavioral also in their school achievement. A solution to this matter will be provide better life and examples to our youth so we can improve the developmental process in children in order to get successful teenagers. Unfortunately also we can consider many other factors that contributes to and average or low IQ,as sex in teenage age, drug abuse or even depression.
